Church Outfit sewn by me!

It's always satisfying when a project you sew turns out but it's even more satisfying when you love it. I made the pants the vest and yes the self tying bow tie, that does not have velcro or clips or snaps. They are very easy to tie by the way. I am very proud of myself, yes I am tooting my own horn. Toot Toot.

Sorry about the blur, but it's the best I could do with children that won't hold still.

Home sewn Boxer Briefs

I did not expect underwear to be so easy to sew, yes it has little fabric involved but it looked daunting. It's really easy to sew, and it turned out so cute even for boys. Yes that is pink fabric you see below but hey for a boy who is going to be potty training in them I didn't think it was a big deal. I especially love the fact that because the unders are made from my old "T's" and I already had the elastic they only cost was the pattern. I think it was ($12) Totally worth it, it's a great pattern, and has tons of sizes.

Dog Bed

I felt bad for my dog so I made him a bed, plain sheets were boring so I painted it. My boys loved helping stuff the pillow with batting. The dog enjoys it too.

Dress

Simplicity 2702
I think this has a house dress look to it, but it sewed up quickly and it's comfortable.

Step stool

I finished this chair for my mother in-law, my brother-in law started it but then it sat for a while.
This is not the original before but at least it show's a difference, hers was rustier.

The grand kids love it.

Chair upholstery

My mother in-law asked me to re-upholster these so I did!

Dance costumes

I made the shawls and re-made the straps you can't see, to make the outfits more modest. They looked cute on the girls.
